What is a “Needs Analysis” and why it should be a normal part of EVERY business
This helpful video explains what a NEEDS ANALYSIS is, and how it’s used in a real life example in my business, and when and where you should use one too.
As a telemarketer we often get clients who are in a bit of a panic and want to get leads fast. We tend to not work together because they don’t have the patience to go through a needs analysis with us. But if you want us to sell your company, how can you expect us to do that without proper preparation? This video explains what a needs analysis is and how it is used in real life, what it does, how it should be done, the sort of things it needs to take into account and WHY it is absolutely critical to our business.
Every new client gets issued with a document that we’ve learned the hard way on – if it’s not filled in, then the campaign won’t work.
A client who can’t be bothered to tell us what their average sales cycle is, their conversion rate from meetings, and what key questions they want us to ask their prospects and who they want to target…well, they just expect us to be miracle workers.
You have to ask yourself this question. If they’re not happy to put in the effort to make sure we are properly prepared, then are they really that interested in whether the campaign (and their business) succeeds?
Tell me your experiences too where you know what to look out for – perhaps we can help each other by doing this!
Anyone can rush through a dodgy telemarketing campaign and hope, but if you want proper results then you need to work with someone who has good integrity and processes in place to make sure that everything is in order and they can do the job you want them to do – sell for you.
